Terms, Conditions and Customer Policies

Flight Deals Limited · Version 1.0 · Effective date: 20 July 2026

1. About these terms

These Terms, Conditions and Customer Policies ("Terms") apply to every quotation, booking and service provided by Flight Deals Limited ("Flight Deals", "we", "us" or "our"). By requesting a quotation, making a booking, paying an invoice, or using our website or services, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms.

Flight Deals Limited acts as a travel agent and intermediary. The travel services themselves are supplied by airlines, hotels, cruise operators, tour companies, transport providers, insurers and other third-party suppliers ("Suppliers").

2. Booking and confirmation

A booking becomes confirmed only when all of the following have occurred:

  1. We have received the required payment or deposit.
  2. The relevant Supplier has accepted the booking.
  3. We have issued a booking confirmation, e-ticket or other travel document.

Quotations are indicative only and may change until confirmation is issued. Availability is not guaranteed until the booking is confirmed.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) unless stated otherwise. Prices may change before ticketing because of:

  • Supplier availability
  • Currency exchange movements
  • Government taxes and airport charges
  • Airline surcharges
  • Other Supplier-imposed fees

We accept payment by bank transfer, credit or debit card, and other approved payment methods. Card payments may attract a processing fee, which will be disclosed before payment is taken.

If a deposit or balance payment is not received by the specified due date, we may cancel the booking and apply any Supplier cancellation charges.

4. Airline fare rules

Every airline ticket is issued subject to the airline's Conditions of Carriage and the fare rules attached to the ticket. Those rules may restrict refunds, changes, name corrections, routing changes, stopovers and upgrades.

Many promotional or special fares are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-changeable. Before authorising ticket issuance, you are responsible for reviewing and accepting the fare conditions that apply to your booking. Where there is any inconsistency between these Terms and an airline's fare rules, the airline's fare rules will prevail for matters relating to the ticket.

5. Changes requested by the customer

Any change requested after ticket issuance or booking confirmation is subject to:

  • Supplier approval
  • The applicable fare or booking rules
  • Availability of seats, rooms or services
  • Payment of any additional Supplier charges, fare differences and our administration fee

We cannot guarantee that a requested change will be possible.

6. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation requests must be made in writing by the person who made the booking or an authorised representative.

6.1 Airline tickets

Refund eligibility is determined by the airline's fare rules and may be subject to airline cancellation penalties, non-refundable taxes and our refund administration fee.

6.2 Other travel services

Hotels, cruises, tours, insurance policies and other travel products are subject to the cancellation and refund policies of the relevant Supplier.

6.3 Processing time

Where a refund is approved, we will process it after the funds have been received from the Supplier. Processing times vary by Supplier and may take 4-16 weeks or longer.

6.4 No-show

Failure to check in, board a flight, or use a booked service may result in the loss of the full value of the booking without refund.

7. Travel documents and entry requirements

You are responsible for ensuring that all travellers have:

  • A valid passport
  • Any required visas and transit visas
  • Health certificates or vaccination records
  • Any other documents required by the destination or transit country

Many countries require passports to be valid for at least six months beyond the date of travel. We are not responsible if travel is refused because of incorrect, incomplete or expired documentation.

8. Name accuracy

The name on every booking must match the traveller's passport exactly. Name corrections after ticket issuance may require airline approval, incur additional charges, or require a new ticket to be purchased. Please check all travel documents immediately upon receipt and notify us of any error without delay.

9. Schedule changes and operational disruptions

Airlines and other Suppliers may change schedules, aircraft types, routes, connection times or operating arrangements at any time. These matters are outside our control. We will pass on any notification received from the Supplier and will provide reasonable assistance in arranging the options offered by the Supplier. Any compensation, rebooking, credit or refund is governed by the Supplier's own conditions and applicable law.

10. Travel insurance

We strongly recommend that every traveller purchase comprehensive travel insurance immediately after booking. Your policy should include cover for medical emergencies, trip cancellation, travel delays, lost or delayed baggage, personal liability and other unforeseen events.

If you choose not to purchase travel insurance, you accept the financial risks associated with that decision. We do not guarantee that Suppliers will provide refunds or compensation for disruptions or emergencies.

11. Visa assistance

We may provide general visa information or administrative assistance with visa applications. Unless expressly stated otherwise, we are not acting as an immigration adviser or immigration lawyer. Visa decisions are made solely by the relevant embassy, consulate or immigration authority, and we cannot guarantee visa approval or processing times. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all information and documents submitted in support of a visa application.

12. Customer responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information for all travellers
  • Review confirmations, tickets and travel documents promptly
  • Notify us immediately of any discrepancy
  • Comply with airline check-in and boarding requirements
  • Arrive at the airport or departure point in sufficient time

Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in the loss of travel arrangements without refund.

13. Supplier responsibility and limitation of liability

Because Flight Deals Limited acts as an intermediary, the Suppliers are responsible for providing the travel services. We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, overbooking, lost baggage, service failures, insolvency or negligence of any Supplier.

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount of service fees paid directly to us for the booking in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of income, loss of enjoyment, missed connections, or additional accommodation or transport costs arising from events beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other applicable New Zealand law.

14. Force majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where the failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, war, civil unrest, government actions or restrictions, airport closures, air traffic control disruptions, or other extraordinary events affecting travel operations.

15. Privacy policy

We collect personal information necessary to arrange and manage your travel, including names, dates of birth, passport details, contact information, payment details, frequent flyer numbers, travel preferences and communications with our team.

We use this information to:

  • Make and manage travel bookings
  • Process payments and refunds
  • Communicate with you about your travel arrangements
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations
  • Improve our services

We may share relevant information with airlines, hotels, tour operators, insurers, payment providers, visa processing partners and government authorities where required by law. You may request access to, or correction of, your personal information by contacting us at reservations@flightdeals.co.nz

16. Cookie policy

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, improve functionality, analyse website traffic, measure marketing performance and help protect against fraudulent activity. Third-party services such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, payment gateways and live chat providers may also place cookies on your device. 17. Communications

You agree that we may communicate with you by email, telephone, SMS, WhatsApp, Messenger or other agreed communication methods. You are responsible for keeping your contact details current and for checking messages relating to your booking.

18. Travel advice

Flight Deals Limited provides booking and travel management services, not official travel safety advice. You are responsible for monitoring entry requirements, health requirements, security advisories, visa rules and transit conditions for all countries involved in your journey. We recommend checking the latest advice issued by the New Zealand Government SafeTravel service before departure and monitoring airline and destination government updates throughout your trip.

19. Corporate travel accounts

For approved corporate accounts, the business may nominate authorised travellers and booking contacts. We may rely on instructions received from those authorised representatives. Credit facilities, where granted, are subject to the agreed payment terms, and we may suspend further bookings if amounts become overdue. Corporate bookings remain subject to all Supplier rules, fare conditions and these Terms. Both parties agree to keep commercially sensitive information confidential unless disclosure is required by law.

20. Complaints and dispute resolution

If you have a concern, please contact us as soon as possible so that we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the matter. Complaints relating to services provided by a Supplier may also need to be addressed through the Supplier's own complaint process. If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, either party may pursue any remedies available under New Zealand law.

21. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any dispute arising from these Terms or from a booking made through Flight Deals Limited will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

22. Customer declaration

By making a booking, requesting a quotation, paying an invoice, or using our website or services, you confirm that:

  1. You have read and understood these Terms, Conditions and Customer Policies.
  2. You agree to be bound by them.
  3. You accept the applicable airline and Supplier conditions, including fare rules and Conditions of Carriage.
  4. You understand that Flight Deals Limited acts as a travel agent and intermediary and is not the provider of the travel services themselves.
